Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni has advised the Nerazzurri players to answer the critics on ground rather than over the microphone.
Andrea Stramaccioni is eagerly looking forward to his debut game with Genoa after being handed the managerial duties recently. The young tactician is under immense pressure from all corners to turnaround the season for the Nerazzurri.
Inter have had a below par season in all competitions, and with only nine matches left to play in the league, Stramaccioni will be looking to guide the club to a place of some dignity.
La Beneamata will host Genoa in round 30 fixture of the league season on Sunday, 01 April. Stramaccioni, who replaced Claudio Ranieri as the manager of the club, has admitted that he is happy with the preparations of the team.
The 36-year-old insisted that he has had a great week, and has got to know the players very well.
However, the manager insists that it will be the performances on the field that will decide his team’s position rather than the talks over the microphone.
While talking to the reporters, Stramaccioni said:
“I am satisfied with this week, as it was positive in training and we got to know each other. We want to reply to the fans on the field and not in front of microphones. That is what my lads want and they are extraordinary professionals.”
“We want to turn this season around, especially the negative trend of recent weeks. I have little to say, other than this: please stand by us. Enough words, as from Sunday afternoon we will give our all and even more to keep the
fans happy.” Added the Nerazzurri boss

tactician, and believes that he could stay next season as well if he guides the club to a decent run of results in the remaining matches.
