Andrei Arshavin feels he has Arsenal future – Premier League News
Arsenal’s Russian assassin and Russian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 has gone on to state that he still feels like he is crucial to Arsenal’s plans for the future.
The player has made these comments in the wake of countless rumours, which are currently linking the player with a move out of the Emirates in the summers.
Following another trophy less season, Arsenal are in desperate need to rebuild their team. However, in order to do that, the team will be looking to bring in as much spending money, as they possibly can.
One of the methods that the team have devised to achieve this feat, is to offload players, who are either too old, or are no longer required by the club.
Based on these assumptions, Arshavin seems to fit perfectly into the description of player’s who would be shown the exit door. At the same time, Russian side, Zenit St Petersburg has revealed that they are interested in re-signing the player, who they sold
to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in the 2009 January transfer window.
Nonetheless, just when it looked like Arshavin would be on  his way out of Arsenal for sure, Wenger has gone on to reveal that he feels that the Russian is a crucial part of the Gunners squad, for the coming season.
The player when addressing the media and talking about his future, went on to reveal Wenger’s desires, as he is quoted to have said:"The manager wants to continue working with me."
So far in his season with Arsenal, Arshavin has gone on to make a hundred and four appearances, scoring twenty eight goals and picking up thirty three assists along the way.
This term, Arshavin had appeared to be rather quiet, but statistically, he has been in top form. Apart from making a massive fifty appearances, he has gone on to score ten goals this term and has also picked up seventeen assists along the way. Thos figures,
by all means are rather impressive for a thirty year old, who tends to make only cameo appearances for the team.
That being said, should Arsenal be offered a fee of around twelve to fifteen million pounds for the winger, the manager might just reconsider his stance on the whole situation. This is because, despite Arshavin being as good as he has been, he is bound to
retire in the near future, hence the team might be looking to benefit for him, one last time, before he calls it quits.
The Gunners could also invest the cash that they incur from Arshavin’s sale, on a player like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863, who despite being young, plays almost exactly like the Russian and could be great on the long-run for the club.
