Andrei Arshavin reveals Arsene Wenger’s attitude in the Arsenal locker room
Arsenal forward and Russian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrei-Arshavin-c5771 has gone on to reveal that Arsene Wenger has had a rather peculiar attitude towards the team, following some dramatic defeats this past season.
The forward has stated that the manager has opted to stay quiet following some losses and for some odd reason, he hasn’t blasted the team even once.
In an interview session, Arshavin went on to reveal the manager’s attitude, while particularly highlighting his actions following  the 3 – 2 defeat to Tottenham this past season.
Arshavin is quoted to have said: “Usually there is silence in the locker room. What’s the point to say anything? Everything has been lost, it can’t be undone. The guys feel devastated at such moments"
These words from Arshavin, really go on to reveal a well hidden secret from the Arsenal locker room. For years now, it has been believed that Arsene Wenger goes on to blast his team, following their inconsistency and their inability to kill big games. However,
that may not be the case any longer.
From the looks of things, Wenger is amongst the countless members of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 team, who have been suffering from a bad case of bottling under the pressure. The game against Tottenham was hard for any Arsenal fan to watch, especially considering the fact
that the Gunners took the lead on the night, but still managed to blow their lead and award their local rivals the win and bragging rights for the season.
It seems like Wenger is now going to be given this season to try and prove his worth, or he might just have to call it quits for the betterment of the team. The manager is now in his sixth year with the club, having not won a single trophy and that is a
terrible statistic for a team like Arsenal.
Apart from Wenger’s inability to really stir things up in the half time break and following big game defeats, the manager is also rather poor when it comes to dealings in the transfer market, or renewing player contracts.
Basically, Arsene Wenger is no longer the same man, who he was when he helped the Gunners go on and achieve the feat of going through a season without suffering a single loss.
Considering the loyalty that Wenger has shown to the club over the years, the Gunners board should offer the manager one final shot at redemption, which if scuffed should result in some drastic changes at the club.
