The Russian Cup winner has backed the Dinamiki manager to alter the situation at Luzhniki stadium after a disappointing Russian Premier League campaign
FC Akzhayik head coach, Andrei Chernyshov, has conceded that Dynamo Moscow’s Sergei Silkin is still the right man for the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at the Moscow-based club despite the Russian outfit’s failure to finish the league campaign on a high.
Media reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 suggest that Silkin is set to lead an Arena Khimki exodus this summer, as Dynamo failed to get desired results last season. The Dinamiki are yet to win a trophy since 1995.
Consequently, senior players at the Russian outfit have hinted at leaving the Moscow-based club after expressing dissatisfaction over the current situation. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Igor-Semshov-c16748 are the front-runners to leave Dynamo
this summer.
If speculations are to be believed, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Kuranyi-c20736 are set to follow in the footsteps of the aforementioned players.
There is little arguing that the White-blues had a poor league campaign, having failed to win the domestic cup or the UEFA Champions League berth last season. They hardly managed to secure UEFA Europa League qualification after
finishing 4th.
The future of the Dinamiki manager was under scrutiny until last week, when the board of directors had called upon a formal meeting to sum up the previous campaign. However, the management has given the verdict in Silkin’s favour
after listening to the justifications the former Dinamo Minsk manager had provided after a below par league campaign.
“I don’t know what happened to the team in the spring, it's hard to say. Maybe Sergei lacks enough experience to fight for higher grounds. But he has somehow stabilized the team and changed their style of play. I think they have
failed to get the desired results because they played defensive football.”
“Though the management have saved him for now but he needs to know that the job demands nerves of steel.” The former Torpedo Moscow manager was quoted as saying.
Chernyshov has admitted that Dynamo had an average season. However, he has assured the fans of an exciting next season.
