The Spanish midfielder has claimed that despite the war of words which has taken place between him and the Portuguese star, Pepe, they can still be friends.
The humble Barcelona star states that there is no feud between him and the controversial Real Madrid defender, and that they could become good friends one day.
The Spanish international has had his differences with the Portuguese defender in the near past, when the two indulged into a war of words, after the recent El-Classico at Camp Nou ended in a 2-2 draw.
Pepe has been hugely criticized over the past few seasons, by the media and Barcelona players, for his aggressive game play style, especially against the Catalans.
Pepe was involved in various incidents against the Blaugrana; the most scrutinized being the one which involved Pepe stamping on Lionel Messi’s hand.
Despite all these controversies, Magazine ‘Sportyou’ interrogated http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 star Andres Iniesta, if he could be on good terms with Pepe in the future and Iniesta surprisingly responded in an optimistic manner, “Why not?”

It is believed that the police and stadium security were required to separate both the players, in order to stop the brawl.
“The police and stadium security were called and they separated the pair and made sure we went into the dressing rooms,” said Levante player Juanfran.
Juanfran also criticized Pepe for mocking him and his team mates after the final whistle, and insisted that behaviour of that sort is never expected at this level.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juanfran-c19849 also stated that the Real Madrid players repeated the same sort of attitude, involving mocking, taunting and dancing in front of opposition players, during their Copa Del Rey victory over Levante two years back.
“Before we went in the dressing room I saw Pepe coming off the pitch dancing, laughing and mocking us. Everybody saw it, the security men, police, his own team, all of us. It’s 100 per cent true.”
Despite the recent controversy surrounding the aggressive defender, Iniesta cooled and shook off speculation of any long lasting hard feelings between the two players, admitting to look forward to become friends with the Portuguese international.
