Andres Palop took out time to reflect on the domestic meeting, praising http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 for his impressive array of skills. The assured goalkeeper claimed that El Pulga is the best player he has had the chance to meet on the pitch, sharing that it is impossible
to know what he will do next.
The experienced shot-stopper added that ‘there's no point in thinking’ what Messi will come up next on the pitch, commenting that the Argentine attacker has such a diverse skills at his disposal that he follows up with something spectacular anyways.
"Messi is the best player I have faced in my career. When he comes toward you, you just don't know what he's going to try to do," Palop was quoted on the UEFA’s official website. 
"With Messi there's no point in thinking what he might attempt because he'll just end up doing something totally different, something so surprising."
Palop also devoted time to talk about Sevilla’s ambitions for the 2012-13 campaign. After less than spectacular seasons, Los Nervionenses have made a bright start to La Liga.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper revealed that Michel’s men want to return to Europe, with experienced players setting their sights on UEFA Champions League qualification. He admitted it would be a stiff task but believes they should make a push for it if qualification
is still possible come the end of season.  
Continuing on the topic, Palop added that the younger individuals in the dressing room need to learn the importance of end of season goals.
"First off, we want to get back into Europe. The more experienced heads like me want to play in the Champions League again.” 
"We must convince the younger players of the importance of these objectives and if, toward the season's end, we are in a position to push for the Champions League then we have to go for it."
