Andrew Bogut saves the day for Milwaukee Bucks
Andrew Bogut scored 24 points, grabbed 22 rebounds and was successful in blocking five shots, to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 97-91 victory against the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

Bogut led the Bucks with 24 points and 22 rebounds, Brandon Jennings had 19 points and John Salmons scored 17 points.

Kevin Martin scored 23 points; Courtney Lee added 16 and Kyle Lowry scored 11 for the Rockets.

The Houston Rockets grabbed 37 rebounds, while the Milwaukee Bucks grabbed 48.
The Rockets had eight offensive rebounds compared to the Bucks 11.
The Houston Rockets gave away 14 turnovers, to Milwaukee’s 16.
Both the Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks took 14 fast break points.
The Houston Rockets biggest lead with by four points, whereas Milwaukee’s biggest lead was by 10 points. The Rockets had 42 points in the paint, and the Bucks had 56.
Bogut’s great come back!
Bogut, who was the number one overall pick in 2005, missed five games this season due to back spasms. However he succeeded in averaging 20.8 points and 16 rebounds against the Rockets.
Last season the Bucks were a surprise playoff team, but now they seem have regained their composure and form, even though they are averaging an NBA-low 91.5 points.
Jennings scored 19 points and John Salmons went 7 of 12 for 17 points in a period of 42 minutes for the Bucks.
It was Jordan Hill’s jumper that took the Bucks lead to 83-82 with seven and a half minutes left on the clock. With just 32 seconds remaining, Kyle Lowry’s three-pointer gave the Bucks another field goal.
Bogut had an interesting game; he missed a dunk, then grabbed the rebound and hit a floater to put the Bucks up by six points. He surged ahead to grab another offensive rebound after he took possession of Jenning’s missed basket to make it 90-82, with just
over four minutes left to play.
Luis Scola fouled Ersan Ilyasova on a three-point attempt, and then converted all three foul shots to end with 13 points. Jennings then scored one of two free throws after being fouled.
Brad Miller missed a three-point attempt, and Bogut made an easy lay-up shot that sealed the game for the Bucks in the closing seconds.
Scola had 10 points, Lee had 16 and Lowry ended with 11 for the Rockets.
The Bucks had a double digit advantage throughout the third quarter thanks to John Salmons. At the same time Martin jumped in to score 11 points for the Rockets, and Jermaine Taylor sunk a nine foot jumper that cut the Bucks lead to 73-71, as they entered
the fourth quarter.
After that there was no way back for the Rockets.
