England’s cricket team’s coach, Andrew Flower, has been given an extension in his coaching contract. He would permanently take the place of Director of Cricket in light of his outstanding run at the helm of the national team that won the Ashes series in 2010-11.

Flower added that at the time of his appointment he wanted to make a big impact at the highest level.
