In an interview to BBC Radio Leeds, the Yorkshire captain said that their main target this season has been to get promoted to the Division one and was confident of doing that.
"Our main target at the start of the season was to get promoted and nothing has changed," said Gale while speaking to media reporters on Thursday.

"We've played some good T20 cricket and we can take the confidence from this win in to the County Championship," said the left-handed top order batsman.
With two wins in ten championship games played so far, Gale-led Yorkshire find themselves at number three on the Division two championship points table. The remaining eight matches ended in draw.
Derbyshire are currently leading the tally with four wins and one loss in ten games, followed by Hampshire, who have managed three wins in ten appearances.
