Question:

Andrew McLeod - Is he over-rated?

The commentators and Adelaide supporters all rave about McLeod being a superstar. In my opinion he is a very good player with great skills, but he is rarely accountable for an opponent and is hardly seen to get in on the bottom of the pack. He hangs off the side to get the easy possessions. I believe that he only looks good when the Crows are winning (97 & 98 Grand Finals are good examples) and when they are getting beaten he rarely has a good game. Like I said this is my opinion and I am willing to keep an open mind about this.

  1. no he isnt

  2. He is and has been an absolute champion.

He will go down in the record books as being just that!!

  3. Oh yeah, kinda is!

  4. You are entitled to your opinion, if that's what you think, well good on you.

Andrew is a play maker, he creates chances and has the ability to win games in bursts.

When Adelaide loses, Andrew still did the job. He is an opportunist and gets (but not as much) as much of the ball, as when Adelaide wins.

He will be an Adelaide Crow legend along with Mark Ricciuto.

  5. No I don't think so, not in his day. Bit injured now.

  6. Think about what you said, when the crows get beaten he has a bad game and when they win he has a great game.

Interpretation - he is pivotal to their chances which shows what a great player he is.

  7. You're right, he's a receiver - but a bloody good one!
