Following a disappointing spell at Volga Nizhny Novgorod, the Russian national has high expectations after joining the Moscow-based club.
Lokomotiv Moscow's new signing, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrey-Eshchenko-c5934, has expressed delight upon his transfer to Lokomotiv Moscow, assuring the fans of fabulous Russian Premier League performances during the third league round.
Though Eshchenko started his professional career with the Russian First Division team, his eye-catching performances pulled him up to the top division within no time.
But repeated injuries kept him relegated to the bench, and he was loaned out to Ukrainian outfits for first team action.
The 27-year-old revealed that he joined the White-blues to play more regularly but things got complicated before the Ukrainian Cup final. The Russian defender was benched for the game after reportedly falling out with then-manager,
Yuri Semin.
Eshchenko revealed that he requested the Kyiv management to provide him with more playing time on the pitch. However, he joined Dynamo Moscow as his request was not entertained.
“Dynamo Moscow called Semin and asked for a possible loan deal. I wanted to play more regularly because it was the only chance which clicked at that moment.” The former Arsenal Kyiv player was quoted as saying.
Eshchenko praised the Railroaders fans, revealing that the Parovozy have intelligent and supportive fans. He thanked the fans for the welcome and assured them of helping the Red-greens.
“I want to say thank you to every individual that has come to see me. I already knew that Lokomotiv have intelligent and supportive fans and now I have seen that myself.
“I have not reached the peak form of my career yet. I hope that my second spell with the Russian outfit will be successful.” Eshchenko said.
Lokomotiv have signed Eshchenko to replace the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Costa-c9458, who could leave the Russian outfit during the January transfer window. If speculations are to be believed, the Portuguese national wants to go back to his native club.
