Former Australian cricketer, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-John-Bichel-c44426 has made it clear that he is not interested to become the new bowling coach of the Australian team because of the hectic international schedule.
41-year-old Bichel is currently the bowling coach of Chennai Super Kings and is happy with the job as he does not have to spend more than two months away from home.
The former cricketer from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 played 19 Tests and 67 One Day Internationals for his country and has a reasonable record in both formats of the game.

Bichel revealed that he was shortlisted for the post last year as well but refused because of the busy schedule of international cricket. At this stage of his life, former Test cricketer wants to spend as much time as possible with
his family.
He expressed, "I got down to the last four last time and it's hard because it's something I'd love to do, but 230 days away from home is a long time on the road. I got to the interview last time and was asked if I could commit (to
the touring schedule) and I said no."
Australia struggled in the fast bowling department after the retirements of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jason-Neil-Gillespie-c66461. However, there have been some positive signs in the last 12 month with the emergence of some quality pace bowlers like

Bichel believes that all of these cricketers have the ability to serve the country in the future, but they need able guidance from a coach who has vast experience of international cricket like McDermott.
"With so many young guys coming through the system, I think you need someone who has played international cricket and who can teach them the stuff in the middle more than the technical stuff, how to get people out," Bichel added.
