Andy Bracek might make his Crusaders’ debut in clash against Harlequins - Rugby

Andy Bracek said on August 10th that he is inching nearer to making his debut for the Crusaders. His start has been delayed for a while now but with the Crusaders’ coach, Iestyn Harris, having confirmed that Bracek will play for Crusader
before the season wraps up, has given new hope to the prospect.
Bracek inked an 18-month contract with the Crusaders in March but could not make his debut so far for the club due to a serious knee injury. Now that he has recovered from his injury, he is part of the training sessions and is preparing hard for his game
which has been postponed for the past 10 months.
However, Bracek has fully recovered from his knee injury that kept him away from action and it has been indicated by the coach that Bracek might make his debut in Friday night’s clash against Harlequins at Racecourse Ground.
Bracek is all excited to slip into the Crusaders’ shoes for the very first time and he agreed that he could not wait for it to happen sooner.
While sharing his excitement about his debut, Bracek stated, "Obviously I am delighted because it has been a long road for me personally. My progress with the physio and the coaching staff has been going quicker than expected and this week my knee has felt
brilliantly. Iestyn pulled me to one side and said I will get opportunities before the end of the season. I am looking forward to finally making my Crusaders debut.”
He also appreciated the way Crusaders’ staff had helped him come out of his injury, for which he thanked them all. He admitted that his knee now feels stronger than before without any hint of any pain left which makes him sure of his debut in the Friday’s
game. His medical staff is extra careful with him play the game under the given circumstances.
Bracek also added that the Friday night’s game is very important to Crusaders, and can be easily won, to move them up within the Super League hierarchy. He also said that there are four games lined up ahead of Crusaders and his team is aiming to win all
four, as they should not quit battling because of their omission from the Super Rugby League from 2012 onwards.
He also confirmed that the Crusaders’ show is yet not over as they have to pay back to their fans who have stuck along with them for better or worse.
As Crusaders had pulled themselves out of the Super League licensing process due to the financial liabilities, that had left all Crusaders in search of their potential future employers. Some have already found themselves their new homes but for others the
search is still on, which also includes Bracek.
