At the start of the season there was debate over whether Andy Carroll would ever be good enough to don the iconic Newcastle United No. 9 shirt.

    He fully deserves to wear the no.9 shirt this season, he's had problems off the field in his private life but other than that he's been sensational apart from Bradley Wright-Phillips (Plymouth Argyle) he is the highest scoring Englishman all season, I think that Carrroll is very under-rated as a player, he's been one of the best players all season and the way he's carrying on he will surely be in the England squad soon.
