Andy Carroll fined for the nightclub assault
There are many cases in the nightclubs as young men and women meet but during those cases, the involvement of a star football player playing for a team in the English Premier League – now that’s very rare.
Recently, the newly-promoted team Newcastle’s star striker and most probably a player who can win the best young player of the year award, Andy Carroll was fined for assaulting a man in the nightclub. As the 21-year-old is expected to score goals while being
a part of his team, no one expected him to be an “angry child” while being out during the night. However, that is how things were when he was fined by the court and he had to pay 1000 pounds after he admitted that he assaulted the man.
The incident took place in the city’s Blu Bambu club on December 7th last year and after being a part of a “few” court meetings, the English under-21 pleaded guilty to common assault. The Newcastle striker also had to pay an additional 2500 pounds
as compensation to the Newcastle Crown Court.
The victim suffered with a “bad” head injury which required a hospital treatment after what happened at the club late night. Even though Carroll was brought to court in January the very next month, the court still took its time to decide his fate after the
incident.
Andy Caroll first denied the fact that he was a part of that incident but later, the young and talented striker had to admit that he did assault the man. Earlier, he had also denied “assault occasioning bodily harm,” but this charge was later dropped when
he actually pleaded guilty to the offense that was less in terms of punishment and fine.
Andy Carroll is an upcoming striker in the English Premier League and also the English team. Currently he is performing for the English under-21 side and he is doing wonders in it. While performing for his club, Andy Carroll has is performing remarkably
well and in his second Premier League match, he managed to score a hat-trick against a team that was simply outstanding during the last season, Aston Villa. Newcastle won that match 6-0 and Carroll was the one who was able to show the world his “fabulous”
finishing techniques.
Last week, the guilty striker made the news again but this time with a good motive. The English under-21 star striker scored the winning goal in the English Premier League as Newcastle defeated the struggling West Ham United.
In the past there have been very few cases involving such incidents and now the young Newcastle striker has made it to the list as well. The club’s owners and the manager is definitely going to take some action about this but the fact that this incident
might affect his performance, well that is simply uncertain.
