Andy Carroll forced out of Newcastle United
Former Newcastle United striker and current Liverpool number 9, Andy Carroll has gone on to reveal that he was forced out of the team that he had been a part of since 2006.
Carroll went on to join http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 in a deal worth thirty five million pounds, with the player making as much as eighty thousand pounds a week.
However it seems that all throughout his move to Anfield, the player was on the phone with Steve Wraith, who is an editor of Fanzine Toon Talk. Once those texts were looked upon, it became rather clear that the player was forced out of the club, rather than him opting to move to Anfield.
The only reason for the texts being revealed to the public are because of the fact that Carroll had given publishing rights on the texts, just so his Newcastle fans can know that he never wanted to turn his back on his former team.
The time span of the text messages is being reported to vary between 1pm and 4pm, during which period Carroll was informed that a new and improved bid had been launched for him by Liverpool.
The texts are reported to have said,
Text One: 'They have kind of said we don't want u but want me to say I wanna go. And I said I don't wanna go.'
Text Two: 'I don't know mate. Gutted tho.' (In reply to question: 'what's happening?')
Text Three: 'They said they wanted the money'
Text Four: 'Gutted to be leaving but I was kind of pushed out the door'
Text Five: 'Just what I've just said really. Gutted to be leaving my home club but I was practically told to go. Don't want to leave. that's why I signed 5 year deal.'
After going over the texts, it becomes rather apparent, that the ridiculous thirty five million pound offer, was what drove Newcastle to letting go of one of the most promising players in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
