Andy Flower, head coach England cricket team, acknowledged the pains endured by his players during the npower Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750.
The coach was full of praise for the hard work put in by the English cricketers as they thumped one of the best sides by four games to nil and claimed the number one spot in International Cricket Council's Test rankings as a result.
Flower is satisfied with the outcome of the series and feels that the Poms deserve to be number one. The coach revealed that the English players were swollen with pride after accomplishing this feat.
“It gives me tremendous satisfaction. I looked at them in the changing room after the game, and they can rightly feel very proud of themselves. They've put in a tremendous amount of hard work to get themselves into a place where
they feel very confident and where they are making good decisions,” said Flower.
The former Zimbabwean cricketer stressed that the Indian team's dismal performance should not overshadow the labour of English players.

“It is nice to see the team like that. They have dominated a very good side here, and I don't think we should forget that. There are some very fine cricketers in that Indian side, who have been performing for a very long time.
They are hugely experienced, so to dominate them like we did is a credit to these England players,” said the 43-year-old Flower.
The former Zimbabwean cricketer and his men, after reaching the summit, have set their focus on retaining it for a long time. England has a five month lay-off from Tests before they embark on the tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 in January 2012.
