Speaking to media reporters on Sunday, the English coach said that playing the Lankans at their home ground will be a challenge for his side, eager to prove its world number one status in the sub-continent conditions.
"That is a challenge for us and we knew going into this year that we obviously had a lot of sub-continent cricket," said Andy Flower, whose team is also scheduled to tour India for a complete series later this year.
"I would like to see us improve our skills in that part of the world. It would be a really exciting thing for our established cricketers to show that they can still adapt,” he added further.
