Andy Murray Thrashes David Nalbandian in the second round of BNP Paribas Masters
The British number one tennis ace Andy Murray has performed brilliantly well to thrash his veteran rival from Argentina, David Nalbandian. Murray had to give his full as he was strongly challenged by the current world number twenty-five.
In a very recent match of the Paris Masters tennis championship, the twenty-three years old tennis ace from Great Britain saw off his twenty-eight years old Argentinean tennis ace after a stamina throbbing battle of tennis. The
match between the two tennis giants was extremely exciting and interesting as both the rivals gave each other a very tough challenge.
David Nalbandian showed his class and talent bluntly and broke the current world number four twice in the first set of the match. The Argentinean clinched the victory of the first set of the match quickly and set the performance
bar very high for the Briton.
After that, the Scot, Andy Murray showed his great capacity and exhibited some brilliant shots and powerful serves. Murray showed some aggressive and passionate game in the second set of the match and gave a very strong response
to the Argentinean veteran. The Scot broke his rival’s serve in the tenth game of the second set and snatched the victory of the set impressively by 6 points to four.
The third and deciding set of the match was not so lucky for the current world number twenty-five as he seemed a little dizzy and slightly out of touch. Nalbandian made many unforced errors in the last set and gave an open window
of opportunity to the Briton.
The third set of the match was a bit crucial and worrying for Andy Murray as well as he hit a wrist injury while smashing a half volley, but he seemed all right, as he remained dominant in the game. Later, the Scot broke the serve
of his rival and safely clinched the victory in the final set of the match by six points to three. Andy Murray grasped victory in the three-setter by 2-6, 6-4 and 6-3.
It is also to be remembered that the twenty-three years old British tennis ace has been enduring the wrist problem for a long time. He had missed two Grand Slam tournaments in the year 2007 because of the wrist injury and the recent
incident of wrist injury in the match against Nalbandian is certainly not an encouraging sign at all.
After the match, the Briton expressed his thoughts in a very satisfied way and told the media that the match was tough for him. While talking about the wrist injury, the Scot told that he is feeling perfect and he will see the
effect later, but according to him his wrist is in good condition and he is hopeful to compete in the upcoming stages of the tournament.
While talking about the challenge from the former world number three David Nalbandian, Andy Murray told the media that Nalbandian is a very tough rival and beating him is truly a great job.
He added and said that Nalbandian has improved his game up to a very high level and playing against him is no less than a true test of skills.
Andy Murray told that he had to change his tactics in the game and remain aggressive during the match. He said that to beat a player like David Nalbandian, a player has to give his best.
Andy Murray told the media about his performance in the game and said that so far he is very satisfied with the way he had played in the tournament. He continued and said that he is very happy with the way he had served in the
match.
