  1. I do NOT panic.  Ever.  Even when I had an ENT surgeon cutting a hole in the neck of the patient I was unable to ventilate (and who was turning really ugly shades of blue and gray) I did NOT panic.  That would be unprofessional.

Lifestyle in ANY medical profession is what you make it, BUT, you have to pay a lot of dues, or work for very little income, if you want an easy lifestyle.

If you're looking for lots of money, try law school.

If you go into a specialty that you don't LOVE, your lifestyle will be sheer, unadulterated h**l.  Whatever you go into, you  live and breathe.  If you aren't really into it, you are going to be miserable, plain and simple.

Dermatology is said to produce a good lifestyle, but if I had to look at zits and rashes all day, I'd be sitting in a corner drooling on myself after a few weeks.  There are people who love that kind of thing, though.

Even if I work an 80 hour week, my lifestyle is just fine, because I love my job.

  2. Anesthesiologist: you have the highest insurance rates of any Doctor and a great risk of becoming addicted to painkillers, but you make a lot.

Radiologist: you have unnerving nightmares about roentgens turning your bones to dust.  You become a pile of drivel for having to see and treat the most egregious (aside from the burn unit) bodily injuries, but you make a lot.

  3. Radiology is the third average highest paying field of medicine, bested only by neurosurgery and spinal surgery. Interventional radiology is even more lucrative. Of course, it depends where you work. If you want to work in Keokuk, Iowa, you can earn well over a million dollars annually. (That's actually true.) The hours can be brutal if you don't have seniority in your department. Night call is unforgiving and the departmental politics will be the biggest stressor you face on a daily basis. That's not to say that you won't be stressed anyway. Medicine in general is pretty thankless so get used to not needing anyone's approval.

Anesthesiologists have, as pongpresario mentioned, the most astronomical insurance rates. But the income is good and somebody always needs to be put to sleep (and woken up, of course). The risk of addiction, however, is a serious problem in the field. You essentially carry a tackle box of drugs that are tempting to sample.

  4. An anesthesiologist's job can be summed up in one quote.

90% boredom, 10% panic!!!  Ask any of them you might know.

A radiologist's job (depending on what group you join) can be a great profession.  You do work a lot in the dark and it is mentally draining, but you do get 10-15 weeks paid vacation a year.  I know this sounds like too many, but if you don't take that time off, you'll burn out!  As always, you must love what you do in any case.  The money is good in either, but radiologist definately make much more.  Also, there are different specialties...an interventional radiologist does more surgical work, while a body imager reads films.
