Angel, from Buffy, in a photo.?

In the TV show Angel, there's an episode in season four where Cordelia comes back from being a higher being and doesn't remember who she is. She's looking through photos and there's a picture of her holding Conner and Angel's standing next to her.

I thought vampires couldn't be photographed.

How's this possible?

Actually, in the Buffy/Angel universe, vampires can be photographed, and can also appear on film, but they do not cast reflections in mirrors.
