Angel Fans or baseball fans.?

What would you like to see your team do this offseason?

Personally, I'd like to see the Angels let frankie, ga, and maybe vlad walk to get some cash for Tex. I love vlad, he's the man, but He is getting older, and tex is a better hitter.

The only problem the Red Sox have really, is the bullpen.  They need to get a middle reliever that is reliable.  No one seems to be the big stopper like Okajima was last season and they will need to fill that role.

Tex is... expensive...

He is a very good player i agree! Patient at the plate, nice defense.. but still. i mean Boras opened his big mouth and said he wanted 10 year 230 million contract right after he got signed. Hopefully Tex LOVES being in Cali enough to stay here no matter what the angels offer him. By the looks of things and interviews he really seems to like it here. Even Torii is trying to persuade him to stay here by showing him all the great restaurants in town :D

I don't know how the Tex thing will go down though

Here's how i look at it. i say we keep:

GA: he's got enough gas in the tank, i mean let the guy retire as an angel come on.. plus we need a DH

Rivera: he's done everything the angels asked of him to.

Vlad: angels don't have a right fielder to replace him unless you want Rivera in there to fill his spot. He's good i think we should keep him for a couple of years

annd. Garland. i dunno if angels let Garly go then we need another pitcher and all that.. looks ugly..

Although I love the guy (i feel like the only angel fan that does at times) and he's a great pitcher no doubt about it.. but i think the Angels are gonna let Frankie walk..

to be honest, who knows?! i like the present just fine :) i don't even want to think about off season its gonna be ugly! :(

p.s. you know I've noticed that angels don't have a middle reliever.. hmmm

I agree with you for the Angels.

But my Dodgers have a lot of work to do. We need to lose Andruw Jones although it won't save us any money cause we will have to eat his contract. Move Pierre somewhere and we would probably have to pay a significant amount of his too. Resign Manny if the asking price isnt ridiculous. Hopefully DeWitt will be ready to play 2nd next year. And we will probably need one more starter and a closer and we lose Beimel this year so we will need another lefty in the pen. That is the start of what I think we need to do.

I would like to see the Giants GM Brian Sabean get fired, so that way he doesn't go after someones leftovers.  I want a GM that will maybe bring a good hitter to the Giants.  We have the pitching we just need a good power hitter.

I would like the Detroit Tigers to go out and focus on the bullpen and possibly add a pitcher to the starting rotation....BUT the area that needs the greatest improvement is team chemistry. They have a great squad right now, but just cannot put it together. I am hoping that a season together will be enough to propel them to do what they should next season.

Wishes:

Drop Scott Olsen or someone else and pick up a cheap, solid veteran SP.

If Kevin Gregg blows a couple more saves, cut or trade him and promote Matt Lindstrom to closer.

See if Jeremy Hermida or Josh Willingham can be traded for some propects or packaged to get a reliable veteran OF.
