is unaffected by.
The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) president played down the stereotypes and claimed that Spain have earned their title of favourites with sheer hard work and determination in international friendlies and qualifiers for the competition.

However, when quizzed about who will lift the prestigious trophy on July 1 at the culmination of the tournament, the Spanish executive gave a coy answer.
He stated that all teams have an equal chance of lifting the trophy and added that ruling anyone out will be a big mistake, especially the teams given the title of underdogs. Villar pointed towards Greece’s triumph over Portugal in the competition in 2004
to make his point.
“We deserve the tag of favourites," he said while addressing media personnel. "But it's not just the teams we all know about that can beat you, but every national side. In http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Greece-c2908 won the title."
While responding to questions regarding La Roja’s chances of winning their third major trophy in succession, Villar admitted that there is no precedent of such a feat in the history books but will not deter them from giving their best.
He stated that luck will plays an important part in how their fate is decided in the competition, and added that their chances of success will improve if they are able to avoid injuries.
“It will be difficult because no one has succeeded. That doesn't mean that we won't go forward and win. It's a small tournament, and you have to be lucky to avoid injuries because it's impossible to recover," he noted.
"And in the game, the ball can hit the post and a champions' luck can come and go."
