At Philips Arena, Angel McCoughtry punctuated a game-high 17 points and grabbed three rebounds as Atlanta Dream snapped their two-game losing streak with a 70-53 victory over Seattle Storm. McCoughtry ended the night with 7 for
20 shooting from the field in more than 27 minutes of action.
Swin Cash
Swin Cash led Seattle Strom in the loss with 16 points, three rebounds and two steals. The 31-year-old pinned 6 of 7 free throws for her team.
Connecticut Sun vs. Phoenix Mercury
Tina Charles
Tina Charles hit a 12-foot jump shot with just five ticks to go in overtime as Connecticut Sun edged past Phoenix Mercury 96-95 at US Airways Center. In addition to a game-winning jumper, the 6 ft 4in centre finished with a game
best 17 rebounds and 23 points. The player also dished out four assists and blocked two shots in the victory. Charles, the reigning WNBA rookie of the year, hit 11 for 24 from the floor in more than 40 minutes.
Renee Montgomery
Renee Montgomery added a team-high 28 points in the Sun’s victory. Montgomery scored 11 points each in both halves of the game. The 24-year-old went 8 for 19 from the floor, including 5 for 12 from three-point range, and 7 for
8 from free throw line.
Asjha Jones
Connecticut’s forward Asjha Jones recorded 27 points on a 13 for 18 shooting from the field. Jones also pulled down five rebounds and dished out two assists for Connecticut.
Diana Taurasi
Phoenix’s guard Diana Taurasi scored a game-high 29 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists in the loss.  The seven-time WNBA All-Star shot 7 for 23 from the field and a perfect 10 for 10 from free throw line.
Candice Dupree
Candice Dupree recorded a double-double in the defeat with a team-high 12 rebounds and 10 points. Dupree shot 5 for 9 from the floor in more than 37 minutes.
Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever
Sylvia Fowles
Sylvia Fowles registered a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds in Chicago Sky’s 88-69 win over the league-leading Indiana Fever that snapped six-game winning streak of Indiana. The 25-year-old shot 7 for 9 from the field
and 7 for 9 from the line.
Shay Murphy
Shay Murphy also came off the bench with a career-high 21 points as Chicago Sky halted their two-game losing streak. Murphy also had six boards and three steals in the victory. The player went 6 for 11 from the floor and pinned
6 of 7 free throws.
Katie Douglas
Katie Douglas was the only bright spot in Indiana’s defeat. She added 14 points, four rebounds and three assists. The shooting guard hit 3 of seven shots from down town.
Minnesota Lynx vs. Los Angeles Sparks
Lindsay Whalen
Lindsay Whalen punctuated a season-high 24 points, eight assists and four rebounds in Minnesota Lynx’s 84-78 victory over Los Angeles Sparks. The 29-year-old point guard hit 9 for 15 from the flied and 5 for 8 from the line.
DeLisha Milton
DeLisha Milton ended the night with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists. The 6 ft 1in forward shot 7 for 12 from the floor and 4 for 4 from the line in more than 33 minutes.
