Angel Pagan probably will not get any qualifying offer – MLB News

Centre fielder Angel Pagan was one of the main players in the San Francisco Giants World Series winning unit but now it seems that he will not be around in the Giants' roster next season onwards.
Though this is still a speculation but this is confirmed that he will not be getting any potential qualifying offers from the Giants.
Other Giants’ players have also filed for free agency and they are also not likely to get any qualifying offers.
Second baseman Marco Scutaro and left-hander Jeremy Affeldt are also free agents and looking for new teams or fresh contract.
“I did see that, There’s a market established there, and it is what it is, If it works out, I’d like to come back, But whatever happens, I’ll never have a bad word to say about this organization. It won’t ever be a situation where I wouldn’t come back because I didn’t like it here. These guys are obviously frontrunners. They have to be,” said Affeldt.
“I am looking for 15 years, three thousand-million dollars, How you like me now,” Scutaro said in a light manner.
He added, "Is that a question? Of course. This team is great. This city is great.”
This is not a surprising situation as the Giants already told sources during the middle of 2012 Major League Baseball season that they will not go for making offers to their certain players who will become free agents.
However, for those, who think that this is a big mistake the Giants’ are going to make if they do not re-sign their well established players in the recent future.
Regarding Pagan’s current situation, many believed that he has played wonderfully for the Giants during this year. Not only during the regular season but he also played quite consistently in the post-season.
Pagan’s consistent performance was also one of the winning reasons of Giants. They certainly rattled the Detroit Tigers in the seven-match clash in which Pagan’s plays stood tall in entire roster.
He finished with .288 hitting average along with eight homers, 56 RBIs and .338 OBP. While his six-year career .281 hitting along with 41 homers, 265 RBIs and .333 OBP also makes him a good player in the league.
