According to Real Madrid’s official website, winger Angel Di Maria has expressed his views on the team’s ambitions to win silverware this season. The Argentine claimed that the main aim of the team was to bring joy to the Real Madrid fans all over the footballing
world.
Jose Mourinho’s men have been in high spirits following their 4-0 victory over Malaga CF away from home. This was the club’s fourth consecutive 4-0 victory in all competitions. Espanyol, Olympique Lyon and Malaga are three of the reams to have fallen prey.
Real Madrid have been in exceptional form this season and have managed to exceed all expectations. They have scored a whopping total of 28 goals, highest for any team in the Spanish Primera Liga so far this season.

Reports suggest that Di Maria expressed his confidence and revealed the club’s intent to win trophies this season. According to Real Madrid’s official website, the 23-year old said:
"The team is much better than it was this time last year and we have a very good side in every way. We also did last season but I think we have grown as a team now. We have been together for a year and the new players who have joined us have really adapted
quickly and well."
The Argentine international joined Real Madrid in the 2010/11 summer transfer window for a reported fee €25 million from Portuguese outfit Benfica.
Di Maria has so far been able to make a very positive impact on the team and has cemented his position in the starting line-up.
Speaking further, the youngster also praised head coach Jose Mourinho, stating:
"He has taught me a lot. He wanted me on the team and I'm grateful for that. That's why I have to give my all on the pitch. I want him to think signing me was worth it."
Real Madrid are looking better than ever, can they actually take the competition to current Spanish champions Barcelona? We shall have to wait and see.
