The Toro manager has stated that he intends to keep a tight hold on the prized defender, but has left the door open for a possible exit of Rolando Bianchi.
Torino tactician Giampiero Ventura has voiced his desire to keep Angelo Ogbonna at the club for their first season in Serie A in years, but has stated that he is not opposed to the idea of selling http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rolando-c31583 Bianchi.
The veteran tactician led the Stadio Olimpico to a triumphant campaign in Serie B, and will see his boys come face to face with the finest clubs in all of Italy in the next season.
The prized defender was part of Cesare Prandelli’s final selection for Euro 2012, and is widely considered to be among the finest young defensive talent in the country.
Ventura stated that he is of the view that Ogbonna should stay with the team for another year, to fuel their first season in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926’s top flight in years.
The Toro chief went on to voice his satisfaction at the transfer activity that has been done by his club in the summer transfer window, and stated that all he needs is a defender and an attacker to complete his squad for the next season.
The Granata manager stated that he is still waiting for the transfer activity to conclude so that he can know his final squad for their next campaign, and insisted that only after that will he attempt to figure out their goals for the next season.
While talking to the press, the former Udinese coach said:
“As for Ogbonna, he should stay with us for another season. I’m satisfied with the club’s work in the transfer market so far. Now we need a left-back and a pacey attacker. Once the squad is complete then we can say with some certainty what our objective
for the season will be.”
While the tactician closed the door on the transfer of their prized defender, the manager was more agreeable to a possible move for their leading striker Bianchi.
