  1. angels and demons, it was even more complex and had a lot more action, both were amazing though!!!

  2. I was lucky, in 2004, the Davinci code was the bestseller for a long while and I was planning to read it,. Someone at my work told me to read Angels and Demons first. So I read both starting with Angels and Demons and it was the better of two. I also managed to peak inside the illustrated version and found out that most of the unbelievable places, events and items are not fictional. When I travel and see the places described, they're pretty close to the way I imagined them from the description. I couldn't help getting into it. Unbelievable fiction that could be true, I loved it.

    The movie was terrible though.

  3. I honestly liked Angels and Demons better.

Although I felt like the two stories were very similar in shape.

Kind of followed the same guidelines but with different villains and what not.

  4. The Da Vinci Code was better

    it shook the whole world

Angels and Demons was good too

i really liked the twist ending

  5. both are great but i liked angels and demons more

  6. both, but Angels and Demons more.

  7. They're both basically the same book.  they follow the same structure, similar character reveals.  Both had laughable third acts.  Although Angels and Demons is so preposterous, and took me so far out of the narrative, that I could barely bring myself to finish. So, if forced, I guess I'll say Da Vinci Code.  At least it had some interesting (if sorely over stretched and misapplied) history to it that made me do some research, and find some other interesting literature. Robert Langdon is, I think, the epitome of a Mary Sue - when you read his description of Langdon, flip to the picture of Dan Brown on the dust jacket..... sheesh

That was a little harsh, sorry to those that like the books, (and to Dan Brown) but they aren't my cup of tea.
