salam alaykum

Angels don't go into your house if there are pictures everywhere or a dog..that's true right? The prophet Muhammad salla llaho alayhi wassalam said that...and some people are against it and I just don't understand why...Some imams said that ASHAB AL KAHF had their dog with them, so how come angels were with them if they don't enter a house where there is a dog. I made some researches about this and I found that HAFADA, which means the angels that protect you from evil, actually can go into your house even if you had a dog. In the other hand, angels that say A DDIKR for allah, are the ones who don't go into your house if there is dog or pictures.

some people are just annoying me because they say that's not right..that was made up by some muslim...but the truth is that Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him said that!

I am just really mad of what people say...I need your opinion my brothers and sisters!

Shokran!

Salam

  1. I think Catholicism will suit you. They also pay a lot of attention to angels and other partners rather than god himself.

I'm amazed that you truly know what was mentioned 1,400 years before you were even born. Please let me use the time machine you used to see it first-hand: i'd also like to travel in time to know for sure what was said.

  2. Can you prove to me where in the Quran it says that? I don't think you can because this is false. Read the Quran and believe in the Qurans words. This has nothing to do with Islam !i

  3. The dog of ashab-e-Kaif is different from all the dogs in the world. That's the only dog that's gonna go to Jannat because of it's significance, just like you can't kill a spider since it saved Prophet's life, same way the dog with the Ashab-e-Kaif is Jannati and therefore, pure. Otherwise a dog nature wise is an unclean animal, and wherever there is uncleanliness, u think the angels will land on that place? Don't think so.

And my opinion is that dogs are najis (unclean) animals...don't keep em..bad for u both physically and spiritually!

  4. That's pretty much why I keep my dog on my lap and pictures by every door way.

  5. That is an authentic Hadith. We have to follow both Quran and Hadeeth to become a good Muslim.

3:32 Say: “pay heed unto God and the Apostle.” And if they turn away - verely, God does not love those who deny the truth.

  6. Did you know that prophet Mohammad hated dogs because one day Abu bakrs pet Greyhound bit him?

  7. yes its true

  8. hadith followers believe fully that Prophet Muhammed Deviated from Glorious Quran..how could you even think of that ..

Allah Allmighty says something TOTALLY OPPOSITE i Infallible Quran

18:18 "You would think that they were awake, when they were in fact asleep. We turned them to the right side and the left side, while their dog stretched his arms in their midst."

18:22 "Some would say, they were three; their dog being the fourth, while others would say, Five; the sixth being their dog, as they guessed. Others said, seven, and the eighth was their dog. Say, My Lord is the best knower of their number. Therefore, do not argue with them; just go along with them. You need not consult anyone about this."

    Quran attests in 5:4

"They consult you concerning what is lawful for them; say, Lawful for you are all good things, including what trained dogs and falcons catch for you. You train them according God's teachings. You may eat what they catch for you, and mention God's name thereupon. You shall observe God. God is most efficient in reckoning."

Hadith tells us that angels won't enter a room where there is a dog. That means that for 309 years that the sleepers were in the cave, no angel ever entered. Yet God says "We turned them...." The use of "we" clearly indicates the participation of angels. There is absolutely no reason to mention the dog as part of this story, except to make it clear to future generation that dogs are permitted to live among people, right "in their midst."

now what about those 2 angels which are always with you recording every thing we do !!

not even remotely Infallible Quran Says, that dogs are nijas ..!probably your flimsy hadith says so .your criteria is if hadith doesnt contradicts Glorious Quran, then it is Sahi.

doesnt the said hadith contradict Glorious Quran from every possible aspect, and sense !

similarly drawing pictures or pictures of any kind ,not nude pics of course,or statues, are not haram...the act of worshipping these pictures or statues is definately SHIRK.

these jahil hadith book narrators didnt even read Glorious Quran carefully

"Shall we treat the Muslims like the criminals? What is wrong with your judgment? DO YOU FOLLOW A BOOK WHEREIN YOU FIND ANYTHING YOU WANT?" (68:3538)

(25:30)      "And the messenger will say, 'My Lord, my people have deserted THIS QURAN.

  9. wa alaikum asalam,

Ashab alkahf(people of the cave), had a Guard dog.

Only 2 types of dogs are permissible to have:

    1. Guard dog

    2. A dog used to help or walk the blind.

you cant have dogs as pets. dogs r najis (impure)

  10. Angel is a term used to denote a certain force that govern the earth. For example the force that give us idea is called jibril, the force that take life is called iszrael, just like the term we used in our day to day living, the power to light up street light, tv, radio and so on were called electricity, the power to move by water is called hydro power. So to say that angel won't enter a place where there are dogs or pictures aren't true. In the quran, the verse on sahibul kahfi, clearly stated that they used a dog to run away from a cruel ruler of that century, and there are verses in the quran stated that dogs can be kept and use to help hunters to retrieve games ( bird, or animals that has been shot ). And according to history, the prophet also asked to be nice to all creatures including dog, and there was a story that relate and incident whereby the prophet himself fed a hungry dog. So the saying that angels don't come to houses that have dogs and pictures, is not a true hadith.

  11. I don't think it applies to your whole house. The picture issue is to keep people from worshiping any random image they see while praying . The dog rule i think is for a cleanliness issue , so it should be kept from your prayer room. We know some angels are with us all the time no matter what, so you can't say angels won't enter where a dog is. They do and will. Surah Al kahf makes a good argument against those who say dogs are forbidden. Those were good people who were protected and given refuge by Allah swt, surely that wouldn't have been done if there was a problem with the dog.  I think people who don't like dogs have made this a bigger issue than it is. Is there really a huge difference in a dog and a cat ? I've seen cat's eat plenty of nasty things and l**k all the wrong places. They sweat differently , that's the only argument i've heard as to why dogs are nasty and cats are good.  Ultimately though it comes down to your personal beliefs. Salam.

  12. i dont know do what you want but with good intentions and i believe that God and the angels will be with yout o protect you why do people make everything so complicated

  17. You are free to believe what you want to believe. But there are absolutely no basis for any of that in the Quran.
