  1. You want no angle at all...do you want your furniture, grills, potted plants to all be on a bias? Don't lean back in your chairs if so..

  2. Can you build it with a good ten degrees of slope, and then put decking on the balcony, set level?  That is what I would do.  Careful with decking, it can get treacherously slippery when wet!

  3. 1/4" per foot.

  4. keep it safe go with 45

  5. In the uk it is normal to have a minimum incline of 1 in 40 for rainwater to drain off..

  6. Whoa. A roof is not a balcony. Are you building a deck? If you are building a flat roof that is going to be walked on it must be extremely well built to take on this dual use if the area under it is to be dry. The pitch of the roof can be almost zero with the correct type of roofing materials. There are many different techniques to accomplish what it sounds that you are wanting to do. Spend a little time investigating how a roof can be constructed say at the local building department.

  7. make it drop about 1/2 an inch every foot

  8. I think 25 degrees will be good

  9. uhm

if you want it to be a flat roof shouldnt you make it

    180 degres obv?!

  10. An angle of zero degrees if you want the roof to be flat.

  11. To know the correct answer, you would have to contact your township. Each township has a different code.

I would suspect that the minimum slope would have to be at an unnoticeable angle where the water wouldn't form puddles, but drain off & then you could put your furniture so it would be useful.

5-10 degree slope should be more than efficient.
