Angry Birds Stage By Stage Guide – how to get 3 stars – World 1, Stage 1-11 to 1-14 – Part 4
1-11
Maximum Bird Launches needed: 1
The first stage to mix two different types of angry birds, namely the red and the blue ones, players need to strategize on how they are going to use the two differing abilities. At least, that is what the level designer wanted you to think.
The stage can be mastered with the single red bird. Again look for weaknesses in the structure and the possibility of a domino effect.
The key is the send the first bird hurtling into the top of the first structure. This ought to kill the first pig, send the structure crashing into the lower structure knocking that pig over and destroying it while at the same time crushing the two pigs
in between.
Another 30,000 bonus points later and the 50,000 points needed for the three stars is easily beaten.
1-12
Maximum Bird Launches needed: 2
The thick wooden planks, ice and concrete slab on the structure in this stage mean that the player needs to plan his assault as mindless launching will not be as effective.
Send the first bird flat at the structure with the mindset that two of the birds should crash through the ice while the other should hit the concrete slab, moving it a bit.
The birds should be split as late as the player is comfortable with, so the force of impact is not lost. If done right, the two pigs at the bottom should be exposed for the second bird to take care of.
Launch the second bird and take care of them, and with a 20,000 point bonus, the player should reach the 50,000-point mark that earns him the three stars.

Players need to remember that blue birds are made to break through ice. Once that is understood, breaking down structures and planning their assault becomes much easier.
The 13th stage has ice and concrete, meaning that direct impact kills are out of the question. Players will need around 47,000 points to get the three stars and bonus points are crucial here.
Launch the first bird aiming at the vertical ice block protecting the pig in the middle and split the blue birds just before impact. If done correctly, it should shatter all the ice around that area and kill all three pigs with the one bird and another reason
to boast your superior skills to your friends.

Another fairly simple level; the key lies in the boulders at the top. No special strategy is needed for this stage, just send the first bird flying at the vertical concrete slab.
Aim for the upper end and the impact should knock a few boulders over the edge while the bird itself should bounce off and kill a few of the pigs on the left side itself.
This strategy however, is not perfect and will require a couple of tries and fine tuning from the player but in the end will bring the desired three stars.
Players should try and achieve a score of around 75,000 points, though more often than not, they will end up scoring more than the target, which is never a bad thing in the world of Angry Birds.
