in trying to find out why you bash HDs, is it possible that you are angry that your bike might not be around in say 3 years while all the older Harleys are becoming classics?????

  1. I'll be on a new bike, since Japanese UPDATE their models.

    A 1995 1000cc won't keep up with a 2008 600cc...and a harley won't keep up with a 250cc.

  2. Don't hate the bike it's the riders with attitudes like yours.

  3. Dumb and dumber.  All you are doing is argument baiting.  I just ride and smile and wave. I might even wave at you.

  4. keep the BS going! Hey is magzsz ded er somethin?

    He has yet to reply!

  5. HAHAHA...

my bike is an '01, it's a honda so it will be around for years and years and it's bulletproof....

my 'Bird will also eat up any harley you feel like throwing it's way...so no worries mate...

  6. Hey, if you live to ride - why would you care what somebody else rides? Let's ride.

  7. you sound like an angry HD guy. my cbr is almost a classic, 19 y/o, and will still smoke your hog!

  8. That's a troll question, begging for more hate and bashing. As a fellow H-D rider, why not just laugh at how concerned the Harley bashers are with a product they claim to hate?

  9. I'm a very happy metric rider.  I'm  thrilled to look forward to a continuing evolving line of bikes instead of just buying an antique that hasn't much changed in 70 years.

I'm also pretty thrilled that I can buy a new truck that has evolving technology instead of a reproduction of a model T Ford.

Have fun with your 40hp bike, a man has gotta know his limitations.

  10. HD is highly overated.

  11. whoa!  couldn't we just get along?  We all share the same common ground, we all love riding motorcycles.  It could either be Metric or non-metric.  If you looks at your Harley, you might be amazed how much metric stuffs on it to make it working and compete with metric markets!

Enjoy your ride and be good to each other..

  12. WHO CARES!!!!!

  13. You're on to something with the metrics being out dated over time.  Every so often the j*p bikes offer upgraded bikes.  Yamaha made a v-maxx back in the 1980's, that bike was the first "power- cruiser".  The bike made more hp and torque stock than most of it's competition made only after heavy modification.  This year you can finally get a replacement bike without having to sacrifice power because Yamaha finally released the second generation v-maxx.  The first generation bike is more powerful than any Harley, including both Buell and v-rod models.  This years new Buell finally catches the original v-maxx unfortunately this is also the years the new v-maxx is released.

Every time a new and improved model comes out the last generation loses some resale value.  Newer is better with j*p bikes, but interestingly enough the buells and v-rods also lose value.  I think they lose value because newer buells get better, the same is true for the v-rods and why throw victory into the mix as well.  The other Harley bikes have not really improved all that much over time.  The new Harley evo engine is actually a very mechanically sound engine, too bad it's still handcuffed into an air cooled 45 degree v-twin.  Harley cannot make the same power the other manufactures make with their inline fours, v-fours or 90 degree and parallel twins and the new 72 degree v-twin confirms this.

  14. Like Edsel?

  15. Harley owners are funny, way too serious about themselves and easy to tease and provoke.  There is a guy in town who has a couple of Harleys, has family members who ride Harleys, has a Harley tattoo, wears silly and crude Harley shirts that demean non-Harley riders, has a part time speed shop, buys kits and installs them (BFD), races his Harley at the drag strip and has mega thousands of dollars in the bike.  When I tell him his supercharged Harley is slow he comes unglued.  He races against Harleys not Busas not Rocket 3's because Harleys are handicapped by the idiocy of factory promotion that subordinates technology to image.

The Harley guys are so into image and delude themselves about the qualities of their bikes.  THEY ARE SLOW! Get over it.

The new and highly touted Harley-Buell Super Bike isn't made in America any more than Honda or Kawasaki are.  The engine isn't even American and it's water cooled.

It's fun to pick on Harley riders, they take offense so quickly.

All that silliness about classics is just more factory hype.  I have an 85 FXEF, a rare bike to be sure but it will never become a classic like a 53 Vincent Black Shadow or a Honda Rune.  These are rare and wonderful.

There are no more long waits to get a Harley.  There are so many truly amazing motorcycles on the market today that being totally committed to Harley is like eating exclusively at McDonalds.  Junk food is fun occasionally but a steady diet of overly fat foods or motorcycles is not healthy.

  16. Its not nice to pick on the disadvantaged mininum wage basement dwelling plastic pony riden cry babys. They want to ride japcrap and wonder why real Americans think theyre idiots...so let em.
