http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Victor-Anichebe-c36018, was glad to get on the scoresheet in the Toffees last game against Newcastle United, and revealed that he was still learning as a player.
The Nigerian International appeared to have clinched the winner against the Magpies, as he netted home a late goal to put his side in front.

Anichebe could have had another goal to his name. He was denied by the linesman, even though one of his attempts had clearly crossed the goal line.
The 24-year old, who has so far capped 138 appearances for the Toffees, has struggled throughout his career to break into the starting-eleven.
It seems that the forward will have to continue to contend with his second-choice status, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 upfront.
Nevertheless, Anichebe vowed to keep on working hard to stake his claim in the team. He was also happy to finally get an opportunity to represent his side on the field, and said that he will pounce on any chance that comes his way.
“I am always happy just to be on the pitch as I've had some injuries in my time. It is nice for me to learn off Niki as he plays as that lone striker and he's a great player,” he told the reporters.
“I've been working on that kind of turn and shot (for his goal) so I was happy with that but I'd have been happier with a win.”
Speaking of his disallowed goal, the player refused to hit out at the match official. Instead, he pointed out that the decision was marginal, and on a more fortunate day, it could have gone his way.
“Sometimes these things go against you but hopefully as the season goes on we'll get some luck,” he added.
The Nigerian footballer might have another crack in the Toffees next game against Swansea City, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nikica-Jelavic-c27906 might miss out the match due to knee injury.
