Former Indian captain, Anil Kumble, has honored the contributions of his former team mate, Rahul Dravid, after he decided to call time on his ODI career.
The batting maestro has been in the headlines for a couple of days, with many greats applauding the player’s attitude and services rendered for the Men In Blue.

The Indian leg-spinner talked on the eve of the player’s final ODI at Cardiff, lauding his outstanding achievements.
“I would like to wish him all the very best, he has had a fantastic career and although, he was not a part of the one-day squad for a long time, he has come back into the team and hopefully he will do really well today and go on a high.”
"I consider it a privilege to have played alongside him through most of my career," he wrote in his column. "His contribution as a team player and mentor can't be quantified, and that will certainly be missed going forward."
