I don't think so.Jambo has fail 2 maintain his capitancy job which we recently saw on Lanka. Somehow Mahi is better than him but not greater than Ganguli.

really anil in great in his captaincy,but his leaad shouldnt be compared with dhonis,anyway he is different from him in so many ways,

i agree that kumble is a better captain than dhoni in test cricket currently. they need to get back to basics. they have 20-20 stuck in their heads and that's why they aren't successful. also india really need a break from cricket to get their minds at ease.

kumble is better captain than dhoni in test , simply because of his exp in test , his best indian bowler ever in test and also he is avg aroung 26 in bat.

Kumble is definitely a better captain than dhoni. Kumble is vastly experienced and is a  brilliant strategist. Kumble cannot be blamed for this series loss. The core of the indian batting line up did not perform and that is what caused this defeat.

That is the bottom line.

Kumble deserves to tell bcci when he is ready to quit. He has the intelligence to make the right decision.
