Animal Crossing Barber Shop

Question

I am very annoyed, i have had Animal Crossing for over a year and i still haven't got the Barber Shop. What am i doing wrong?

I have bought / sold a lot more than 24,000 at Nook's shop, & a friend who has come to my town has bought something from my shop.

Help please!

I don't think your doing anything wrong. It just takes time. I was the last one to get the game out of all my friends and I was the second one to get the barber shop! Just keep playing, you'll get it eventually. Sorry I couldn't help you get it faster.
