Animal Crossing ds..........?

On some Animal Crossing forums, people are talking about 'The Barber Shop'. I haven't got 'The Barber Shop' in my town. Can anyone tell me why? Thanks!

hi you have to get the 3rd upgrade on nooks shop to get it spend summat like 50k there and get a friend to buy one thing from the shop ( has to be someone from other town )

well its actually a beauty parlor and the only way of getting it, is if someone visits your town... i don't have it either because i started a new game but Tom Nook's store turns into Nookington's and there is a second floor run by to little raccoons. The parlor is in the first floor at the back.

You know how you're paying the mortgage on your house? Then afterwards when you've paid it off, Tom Nook asks if you want a bigger house again, (you don't really have a choice!) and your house has an extra room, every time you pay off a mortgage it upgrades parts of Tom Nooks shop. Eventually I think its the last mortgage you pay off that you get the barber shop. I'm still trying to pay the mortgage off, takes forever to pay it all off! You also have to get someone to visit your town too, I think, so it's good if a friends got it too so you visit each others towns and also swap fruit/objects that you don't have!
