Animal Crossing for the Game Cube??

Question

How do you change your town's fruit? My town's fruit right now is a pear, and recently one of my neighbors (Punchy) gave me an apple. How can I use that to change my town's fruit to apple?

you cant "change" it exactly but just dig a hole, bury the apple, wait a while, and shake then repeat. your main fruit will always be pears but you can have as many apples as you want

Just use your shovel to make a hole, and throw it in there and keep watering the sprout till it's an apple tree. Then when the tree grows, shake the fruit off, then make some more.
