Animal Lovers; Dogs or Cats?

Which do you think is better and why?

Dogs, because they don't have that "talk to the tail" attitude problem like cats do.

Dogs because they are generally more affectionate and there's no litter box to clean.  I am an owner of both, though.

i am a onwer of both cat and dog

dog will bark and mabee be a watch dog you can play and cuddle with them but sometimes their a bit big to hold and you can walk dogs

you have to lets dogs out to go potty and there is a slight problem of training the dogs u NEED to train dogs the right way or they will be agressive dogs get lonley always want to be around ppl cant leave house for long distances without takeing them.get a lease to go places

cats are usaully indoor were it is safe you can not walk them unless you get a cat stroller they will lay on you all day long you can cuddle wenever you want cus cat cuddle and sleep all day long you can play with kittens with string or other toy usaully wen older dont play as much cats have a litter box soo dont need to let out to go potty you can leave home alone cus dont worry about peein aand they sleep in corners all day. get a cat carier cage to go places

I like both, but I prefer dogs.  They make better companions and are cleaner.

dogs.  to me they are more affectionate.  funner to play with.  understand you, and somethings you say. cats are too independent for me. dogs are loving.  do you see those police taking cats into hospitals? .. didnt think so

I like dogs, but I'm more of a cat person, because I have a hectic life and they're good company but less maintenance.

cats shed on everything, scratch everything, and usually are prone to carrying more decease than dogs.

dogs p**s on everything, hump everything (living and non-living) and l**k yr face after "cleaning" themselves

they both suck... but i have 2 dogs cus 2 out of the three things that suck about then rnt as bad when u get them fixed so....

I like cats because you don't have to worry about barking or training them and they don't jump up on you and slobber. Cats are intelligent and are so better than dongs in my opinion. Dogs get into trash and make a mess of your house, cats just sleep and relax most of the day. Clearly I love cats and don't like dogs.

Dogs because you willl eventually consider them as a part of your family where cats on the other hand are cute when they are small but when they grow up all they want is treats and lie around doing nothing.

They need the exercise, as much as you.

They are loyal and protective.

They will bark when the doorbell rings,

to let burglars know, your not alone.

They are children friendly, and fetch is a their game.

and watch your car, when you are shopping.

Someone may steel you car with a child,

but not with a dog.

When you are alone, and and talk to them.

They don't tell your secrets, to others,

So, make sure your room is not "bugged."

I think both are great pets to have. Each has it's advantages and disadvatages.

Dogs are fun, loyal, easy to teach tricks to, eat a lot, come in tons of varieties, pant a lot, tend to be more obnoxious, and very rambonxious

Cats are more quiet and peaceful, are basically all the same size, fun, loving caring, and delicate. It you are peaceful, I would pick cats, iif you were wild and crazy pick dogs! I love them both!

animals are animals and they should all be treated with respect.  

I myself prefer dog cuz they are not loners like cats.  cats can be very independent.  i like the way dogs get excited to see you and it makes you feel good inside.  cats sometimes seem not to care as much.

I would have to choose dogs because there easier to take care of and they are playful. My grandmother has three cat ,one you dont see and the other fight with the dogs .So you can tell that dogs are better pets then cat!

Both!  Cats are smart and so are dogs!  They can both sense your feelings!  Its almost like cats can see the future, they know what you are going to do next!  Dog are fun because they are fun playmates and make a great cuddlebug!

i personally have 2 dogs, male and female, they are very cute, but i tell myself if they die, I will never get dogs again. too many stuff you need to take care of, which like, clean bio stuff, daily walk with them, wash them twice a week (our dog live inside with us), and seens economics is down right now, even dogs food kill me ~  Now my friend has a cat. and she just so clam down, and cute too. i asked how he clean cats stuff. he say put there, she will take care by herself ! .. if there is a chance for me to choose.   CATs

I like dogs better.  You can train them, go for walks with them, play with them.  Dogs are happy just to be with you, their love is much more up-front than a cat's.
