Animal Shelter Volunteering?

Question

Is there a website or something where i can type in my zip code and a list of animal shelter/hospital volunteering opportunities come up?

I'm having difficulty finding a place that takes volunteers in my area.

Is there any way to find places that will take volunteers?

Have  you tried volunteermatch.org?  If you type in your information, it will show you volunteer opportunities in your area.  Good luck!

You usually have 2 choices:  the local city Animal Shelter.  You sign a waiver that you won't sue them if a dog bites you.

The SPCA  Humane Society.  If they are short handed they will let you work.  They may offer you a job if they are happy with you.  .
