Im in such a dilemma, i dont know what to do. I have always wanted to work with animals but i have no experience.

I know alot of vets take on people and train them as veterinary assistants and that would be a start if i got that much.

I have tried to search for work with a vet and be trained in as a vet assistant and hopefully going back to college in the future. But im goin nowhere. There's not alot of places looking for people. I didn't even get a rejection letter or anything. So i dont know if its me.

There are 2 new vet clinics opening soon in which i want to get some work with. They will definately be looking for workers. But like i said i dont know if its me and not having experience or whatever.

There is a home study course in animal care with barony college in scotland in which i like the sound of but its quite expensive. Should i do it in the hope that vets would actually see that i am at least interested in working with animals rather than giving them my cv with nothing?

  1. Hai yaar, hmm....... it sounds like u r sacrificing ur life for the sake of ur animal love. Dear, don't get dissappointed, Try, try ,try  again ,then you'll succeed. Keep ur aim in front, work to ur maximum 4 it, keep dreaming......until u reach ur destiny. No God  can resist ur will if u have sufficient willpower.Let ur inner urge b so strong that  nothing  externally can hamper ur aim.

  2. Do you have animals? That may sound like a dumb question, but learning from experience is a great idea! It sounds as though you sent letters to the vets. Why not visit them? If they won't give you paid work, ask for unpaid work experience. Explain that you are a homeschooler and you would like to do a traineeship with them. Ask if they would be willing and what time period they would consider. Make sure they understand that you want to learn to work with animals and that you are not volunteering to be the cleaner! Working for free is cheaper than buying an expensive curriculum from Scotland eh? And read everything you can find in the library about animals.
