Animal cruelty free holiday with good shopping?!?!?

I am looking for a holiday destination where animals in the country are treated well and i wont see any in bad situations when wandering around..... Please help :(

Well definately not Malta. Apparently, then trap robins to eat them. Hunters put sticky tape on the branches and catch LOTS of migrating birds each year. They then kill and eat the robins. It's a tourist thing.

All countries have a meat eating population. Meat is pretty inescapable in the modern world. Animals are slaughtered in every country I can think of.

You can take a vacation in a zoo by volunteering there. The animals get free everything including medical care and the best food available. That's why they live longer in captivity than in the wild.

Bit of trivia: di you know that of the approximately 2 million gnus (or wildebeests) roaming the African plains, not a single one will die of old age?
