  1. when the pigs became powerful, the became corrupted. when the pigs became the overall leaders of the farm, they only thought of what would benefit them and started making deals with the humans.

  2. -The farmer has power and is corrupted

-Napoleon has absolute power over the other animals and isn't he absolutely corrupted!

  3. When Napoleon took over the farm, he used his powers to abuse the other animals on the farm.

My teacher gave me the same question for critical lens essay

  4. The more power that the pigs got the more corrupt they became until they were corrupted absolutely. Geaorge Orwell was trying to promote the form of communism in which there is really rule by the people - he was a supporter of trotsky (the pig that was kicked out), not stalin (the head pig). HE believed that if there is one man (or pig....) in control they will be corrupted, no matter what their intentions. You should also read 1984

  5. I'm not completely sure but when the farmer guy (sorry I can't remember his name) is forced out, I think that relates to the power tends to corrupt part. I think when Napoleon is on his killing spree that relates to the quote too. Good Luck. :)

  6. Well once Napoleon started gaining power he became more and more corrupt and once he gained absolute power, he was mad with corruption. He went against all his own rules, blamed others for the failures of his kingdom, and did whatever he desired to gain for himself.

This shows how when the wrong person is granted absolute power, they become power-hungry tyrants that care nothing for their people that are wrapped up in themselves.

So absolute power = absolute corruption
