okay so i know the animals play the role of the Bolshevik revolutionaries,but who do the humans in the book portray as? and when the pigs take over the farm, are the other animals suppose to be the russian people?

  1. The humans represent the imperialist Russians loyal to the monarchy.  The other animals represent the common people of Russia.

    Also, the Bolsheviks revolted in 1917 against Nicholas II, ending the 370 year old Romanov dynasty and beginning the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

The Czar of russia.  basically the leader that follows no rules.  The dictator, the King.  They over through the government back in early 18 something.  But as the lesson the book teaches those who don&#039;t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.  some of the people are also representing other cuntries and taratories seeing a weak gov and wanting to take over.

    also a side note: it would help if you posted in politics or books and reading sections of YA you may get more answers.
