it has to be possible,

i mean,

two animals can do it, LIGER people!

you can artificially incimanate (sp) a horse or something with human sperm you know? like everyday until its impregnated..

that would be horrible but is it possible?

  1. It's not possible - the example you cite, Ligers, stem from a pair of animals that are so closely related that interbreeding is possible - both are members of the family Panthera, just as donkeys and horses (both members of the family Equus) can interbreed to create a mule. The greater the genetic difference between two animals, the lesser the chance that a viable offspring would be produced from any coupling and the greater the chance of things like miscarriages and failure to inseminate would occur.

That's not to say that just because two animals are in the same family a successful cross will result - back in the 1920s, Stalin sent experts in animal breeding to Africa to attempt to create an army of supersoldiers from a cross between monkeys and humans.

All attempts to breed, through artifical insemination of human females with monkey sperm and and artificial insemination of female monkeys with human sperm, were failures.
