Animal laws in missouri

im currently looking into getting a chinchilla, a zorse, sugar glider and a rabbit. but all of theses are exotic i was wondering if anybody new the animal laws in missouri

  1. I didn't even know what a "Zorse" was until I looked it up just now, interesting.

  2. I know you can have the chinchilla, sugar glider and rabbit. I'm pretty sure that you have to have special permission to own a zorse anywhere.

  5. I found this site with some proposed legistation in Missouri.

    As of today, this bill has not passed, I think.  The domestic rabbit and chinchilla are probably exempt from any kind of permit but I suspect the sugar glider and  zorse may be a problem.  It is hard to find a definitive list but I did find this:

    You will need to speak to the department of agriculture for exotic animals. The number is 517-373-1077.
