Animal lovers? Please support a cat charity?

I hope i don't get thrown off yahoo for this, but over the last few days I have become moved by the story of Sheffield (UK) Cat Abuse Treatmen Centre. The sanctuary is run by a lovely lady called Jackie ( who I have never met but she's famous in Sheffield)... she currently is really struggling to survive financially. She is living with no heating trying to make ends meet and look after over 22 sick cats. We are campaigning in sheffield to get people to donate whatever they can, but I thought i would be cheeky and ask people here to donate too. Jackie will have tp close her operation and put down 22 cats if she doesnt get some money coming in for their care soon. SCATS is a registered charity. 1043442

I thing you are doing a great thing and should be real proud of yourself. I have an idea though that might help you. try asking for donations from local or nearby businesses, churches, and even from goverment officials. If you dont have the money to pay for flyers and such, try talking to them in person-which is also very persuasive- or get a business to sponsor the cost of them-for the charity of coarse.

Aslo you could try the old fashion way through bake sales, yard sales, or collection jars at businesses. If you need more hands to help you, try contacting a high school that may lead you to a community service club willing to help you or family and friends, or even neighbors.
