Animal sanctuaries???

where are there some animal sanctuaries or reserves in Texas? just wondering....

they try and keep as many as possible out of texas because of the heat so the ones that they do have are very seldom

Thank you for asking that question I came out of TX  I lived their  5 years  and never heard of one, I passed acers & acers of land  where they  (the owener of the lands) would put exotic animals for hunters to hunt and kill,  so a trophy could hang on their walls, the only animal sanctuarie I know of is ASPC  where they would pick up animals of all sorts that were being abused by the owners ,give them refuge and Vet.  assitance than find these animals a  good  loving home.... if you have a wild animal  that has goten to expensive to feed get in contact with ASPC . they can help you
