Please help me understand. I just read the Y!A question below:

You know when they say that in a litter of puppies or litter of kittens, there is one that isn't supposed to make it... like natural selection... the weaker kitten/puppy is supposed to be euthanized? Then why is it that a human child with a birth defect like Down syndrome or Cerebral Palsy in theory "is not supposed to make it also" but we say, "Don't euthanize the kid..." Why do we say one thing for animals and do so much justification for humans? Natural selection is not different for both humans and animals... I just don't understand...

  1. animal  have  long  peenis   so

  2. haha Human rights.

I'm guessing there are more human rights activists then is animal enthusiasts (animal protection equivalent?).

There are so many ethics to do with humans, i guess animal ethics just haven't got this far yet.

Also costs for animals would be higher and people just wouldn't worry seems as they have a whole litter.

    I see your point though.

    Good question.
