Animals in dreams?

I dreamed last night that I was @ some kind of animal sanctuary with my bff. There was a winding path on a hill & I think it was late afternoon early evening. We were walking the path both up hill & down hill, several times. It seemed to me like we had purpose there, not just visiting, but I got the idea we were supposed to buy some thing. Anyway, at 1 point we were under a tree. I looked up when I heard a noise & saw frogs in the trees every where. The frogs, at first, were very large, but as I looked up at them they began to "rain" down on us & as they did the became small.I say rain because I distinctly remember thinking it was raining frogs, not that the frogs were falling from the tree. Later as we progressed down the path there was a white tiger cub & mother loose in the grass. I saw the cub 1st, then the mother ran @ me to protect the baby, though I wasn't near the cub. I narrowly missed being mobbed by the cat. Any takers?

  1. Animal symbolism definitions are your best bet here. From the definitions you should be able to see where the animals fit in your life & what they are trying to communicate to you.

Frogs: Traditionally frogs are symbols of fertility, and to have frogs raining down on you would be a good sign. Fertility just doesn't have to be for procreation purposes, it can also mean luck, wealth, and good health & prosperity.

Traditionally in dreams frogs represent good friendships too. So if you were with your BFF, I would say that this person is your BFF for real.

Tigers/White Tigers: Tigers are feminine energy, prowess, and strength. For you to see a tiger is a good sign, speaking of either the qualities of you or of your friend - is one of you a 'Tigress' or does one of you need to be stronger and more like a tigress? The fact that this tiger had a cub is even more important especially because you dreamed of frogs (fertility) and this tigress had a cub (motherhood). The protectiveness of the mother over her cub could be symbolic of your protection over your friend, or your friend's capabilities of protecting you. Maybe you are both strong & protective of eachother.

If a tiger approaches you and attacks this can mean in dreams that your enemies are waiting to strike you down. Are you fearing another persons anger or forefullness lately? That is also what the tigress can symbolize, your fears manifested, and usually it will be your fears in regards to another female.

White is usually symbolic of purity & spirituality, which is why I tend to believe that the tiger did not mean negative things, and was not an 'enemy' trying to attack you. All the same, watch your boundries, especially when around mothers & children, and be careful not to overstep your boundries, or overstay your welcome.
